Explanations of Facial Features of the Ear
Ear Size:
- Small ears - the outer (visible) ear is especially small relative to the head
- Large ears - the outer ear is especially large relative to the head
Ear Position:
- Low ears - the ears are especially low on the head
- Middle ears - the ears are in a normal position on the head
- High ears - the ears are especially high on the head
Miscellaneous Ear Signs:
- Pointed ears - upper part of outer ear is pointed, like a Vulcan's ear
- Large ear lobes - the ear lobe (lower part of outer ear) is especially large relative to the whole ear
