Explanations of Facial Features of the Ear

• Small ears - the outer (visible) ear is especially small relative to the head
• Large ears - the outer ear is especially large relative to the head

• Low ears - the ears are especially low on the head
• Middle ears - the ears are in a normal position on the head
• High ears - the ears are especially high on the head

• Pointed ears - upper part of outer ear is pointed, like a Vulcan's ear
• Large ear lobes - the ear lobe (lower part of outer ear) is especially large relative to the whole ear
